A 6-year resident of Three Hills, AB, married for 24 years, with 2 children, aged 15 and 12. I homeschool both my kids, and plan to do so until they graduate!

I had the wonderful gift to enjoy my childhood learning the piano, completing grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music, including Harmony and History. Since then, I’ve taught piano for 2 years, provided piano accompaniment at weddings, special ceremonies, church services, choirs, and now more recently, leading a worship team for Sunday Services for over 6 years.

This all said, I feel that I've come back full circle with a hunger to teach what I know and bring life through the wonder of music and playing the piano!

I believe learning the piano is an investment made for life. You may never know how you'll utilize the skill itself, but I can assure you that character is being developed along the way contributing to many aspects of life. You'll be sure there's growth… stretching of persistence, patience and perseverance, along with gaining confidence and skill through repetition and the enjoyment of music itself.

I’m looking to gauge interest for now to get an understanding of where people are at. From there, once I have my family’s schedule, I’ll be able to more concretely have a timetable where I can slot students and officially launch the 2026-2027 Piano Lessons with Melanie registration where all the details will be provided for you to make your final decision.
